Text description provided by the architects. The Project is located on a slope in the summer site Rocas de Santo Domingo
The new volume is housed over an existing garage, attached to a house. Both, designed by architect Javier Adwandter in 1955.
The client, in this case an artist, proposed a single interior space: home office-bathroom-workshop, and a surrounding outer space: balcony-terrace-access ramp with open views to the surroundings.
The enlargement, developed completely in wood, fills up a structural grid of laminated beams, which in turn, work as built in furniture.
The facade facing the street is almost completely sealed, as opposed to the window facade that oversees the Bay.
